1. Each
section of our
catalog is divided
into two sections --
PATTERNS to be
Mailed (by postal
service)
~ OR ~
DOWNLOAD PATTERNS
Choose "Download
Patterns".
2. Use the
"Add to Cart" button
to add pattern to
your shopping cart.

When you are
finished shopping,
proceed
to checkout.
Check to be sure
that each item in
your cart
says "Download".
4.
Click the "Checkout"
button, even if you
plan to use PayPal.
The benefit of this
is explained
further
down.
5. This is
the next page that
will appear.
Fill in the blanks
and click
"Continue".
6. On the
next page, you will
set up your account.
The advantage of
this is that you
will be able to
pick
up your downloads at any time from any computer, and
PayPal users won't
"lose" their
download page.
Create a username
and password under
"New Users", and
fill in the
remaining blanks.
The next time you shop on my website, you can use that same username
and password,
and
use the "Express
Checkout".
Be sure to check
that you've read our
privacy policy at
the bottom of the
page.
Click
"Next Step".
7. The next
page will show your
cart and the total
due. Either
click the button to
pay with PayPal or
fill in your charge card information and click the
"Charge My Card"
button.
8. The next
page will be your
confirmation page.
At this point, you
can pick up your
downloads
immediately.
A page will open
containing a link
for each pattern in
your order.
Just click each link
and begin
downloading.
NOTE: These
links will be there
so you can get to
them at any time
from any computer.
So, for example, if
you want to download
from a high-speed
connection at your
work the following
day, you
can do
that.

**** For PayPal
Users --
If you used the
PayPal buttons right
from the beginning
instead of the "Add
to Cart" buttons,
click "Continue" on
your confirmation
page. Your
links should appear. Just
RIGHT click each link,
click "Open in New
Window" and begin
downloading.
NOTE: I
have found the best way to
ensure that you get
your downloads with the
least amount of
problems is to use
the regular "Add To
Cart" buttons while you're
shopping on my
website. Go
through the regular
checkout where
you'll create a Username
and Password.
THEN, on the next
page, you can click
to "Pay with Paypal".
This will allow you
to go through the
steps under #4
above.
If you add items
directly to the
PayPal cart, you
skip the steps of
creating an account
on my website.
The choice is yours.
Either way, we'll
help you if you
"lose" the
download links using
PayPal. Just
let me know. |
9. When the
download box
appears, click SAVE
to save the file to
your hard drive.
(Be sure you know where you are saving it to.
It'll make it a
whole lot easier to
find later.)
10. After the
download has
completed --
-- For XP or VISTA
OS, just double
click the zip file
icon that you saved
to a file on your
hard drive
just as you would for any
other file on your
computer and the
zipped file will
uncompress.
Then,
double-click the pdf
file. A box
will appear -- Click
"Open" -- and your
pattern file will
open
in your Adobe Reader
program.
Print.
-- If you are using
Windows 95, 98, ME,
NT or 2000 -- You
will need to
download and install
the
Winzip program from the link above.
After you have
installed Winzip --
double-click the zip
file
(pattern file) you saved to your
computer. The
Winzip window will
open. (On the
free version
of Winzip, just click "I Agree").
Double-click the pdf
pattern file and it
will open in your
Adobe
Reader program. Print.
And, that's all
there is to it!

To Order Downloads
by Mail -- Some
people still don't like
to use their credit card
on the internet.
That's ok. And,
some people don't use a
credit card at all.
That's ok, too.
You can STILL order
E-patterns. Write
a note on your order
form that you want the
patterns as "Downloads".
Include your
email
address and payment
(credit card or money
order only please, US
Funds). And
remember...you
do NOT
add postage costs.
When we receive your
order, I will set up the
downloads for you and
email
you the links where you
can pick up your
patterns.
